Welcome to this exciting project for semester three ICT students! This assignment challenges you to combine your creativity and programming skills in the development of an immersive Tower Defense game with a twist. You will immerse yourselves in a world of strategic defense, tactical deployments, and thrilling wave scenarios. This game will not only sharpen your skills in game design and programming but also test your ability to create a challenging and immersive gaming experience.
Focus on analyzing, designing, and implementing the various aspects of the ‘8 Kinds of fun’ that make the Tower Defense genre so exciting.

Tiwst A - Reverse Tower Defense:¶
In this twist, players take on the role of the invading force rather than the defender. Instead of placing towers to defend against waves of enemies, players must strategically deploy units to overcome the defenses of the enemy stronghold. The game could introduce mechanics such as scouting, resource management, and capturing enemy structures to turn them against their own defenses.
Tiwst B - Dynamic Environment:¶
In this twist, the game features a dynamic environment that evolves over time and directly impacts gameplay. For example, environmental hazards such as earthquakes, floods, or wildfires could periodically alter the terrain and force players to adapt their defensive strategies. Players might need to build flexible defenses that can withstand changing conditions or even utilize the environment to their advantage by triggering traps or diverting enemy paths.
